You are invited to submit a paper for possible inclusion in a Special Issue of The Roundtable: The Commonwealth Journal of International Affairs on the topic of Security in South Asia. The special issue will be co-edited by Drs. Aakriti Tandon (Daemen College) and Michael O. Slobodchikoff (Troy University) and is slated for release in April 2019. This Special Issue aims to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners to present new research and developments in the area of South Asian security. Areas of interest for this special journal issue include, but are not limited to, the following topics: state security, military security, human security, environmental security, energy security as well as regional security.
Articles between 4000-6000 words will be considered for publication in the special issue (slightly longer is acceptable). All papers will be subject to the normal Round Table peer review process and should follow the journal’s style recommendations. You will need to indicate your intention to submit your full paper by email to the guest editor with the title of the paper, author information, and abstract (200-300 words). The full manuscript, as a Word file, should be emailed to the guest editor by the deadline indicated below. Authoring guidelines will be mailed to you after we receive your letter of intent.
The deadline for submitting abstracts is August 1, 2017. Accepted proposals will need to provide the complete manuscript by November 1, 2018. Please contact the guest editors for further information/ clarification. All abstracts should be submitted to Dr. Aakriti Tandon at [email protected]
