The House of Commons debated the Commonwealth on 9 March 2020 – Commonwealth Day. The debate had been introduced by James Duddridge, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs.
MPs discussed a range of issues from UK ties with the wider Commonwealth, #GlobalBritain, Commonwealth visas, Commonwealth trade, climate change, LGBT rights, CHOGM 2020, Rwanda and gender equality.
